Serving others with the love, truth and power of Jesus locally and regionally is part of DNA of Apex Baptist Church, and we love doing it! All age groups are able to experience the joy and fulfillment that comes from being a witness for Jesus in our “Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria” (Acts1:8). First, each adult life group is connected with and regularly serves one of our local ministry partners. Our understanding and passion for these ministries deepen as our involvement and relationships grow. Secondly, we have a variety of ministry events and opportunities sprinkled through out the year. Some of these are church-wide while others are anchored by specific groups. Through these experiences it is amazing how you are blessed while you are being a blessing to others.

Annual Church Wide Outreach
Throughout the year, we strive to impact our local community by serving in various outreach events. Take a moment to look below and learn more about each one. As we progress through the year, go to our event registration page and sign up to help with any of the upcoming opportunities.
LOVE OUT LOUD
Love Out Loud is a day of service opportunities which enable our church family to “be the hands & feet of Jesus” locally, in the month of April. Through Love Out Loud, we want everyone - from children to senior adults - to “get in the game” and experience the joy and fulfillment of serving others.
Apex Peakfest Ministry
When the town of Apex holds its annual Peakfest celebration in May, our upper parking lot will be transformed into a sea of inflatable bounces & slides, play areas for children, and more! As with our other ministry endeavors, we seek to provide a valuable service to our downtown community by engaging those we serve with the genuine love of Jesus. Our adult life group classes staff this event in shifts throughout the day.
Rock the Block
Rock the Block occurs on the Saturday prior to Halloween, in conjunction with downtown Apex's trick or treat event. This event draws in hundreds of visitors who may be exposed to our church for the first time, and there are endless opportunities to engage our visitors for Christ. Our church is transformed by bounce houses, games, ponies, hay rides, food, and of course candy! Our goal is provide an alternative to Halloween that points families and children to Christ in a fun and positive way.
Christmas on Salem Street
On this night, we join in with the rest of our Salem Street neighbors to begin our Christmas Season Celebrations. This is an ideal opportunity to impact our community by serving them practically and by engaging them for Christ. Our downtown is closed off to automobile traffic, but it’s filled with festive family traffic. We provide refreshments, photo opportunities, and Christmas Cheer from our front lawn and sanctuary foyer.
Christmas Eve Celebration
Christmas Eve is one of the most attended services of the year. There is no better time to reach your immediate community and invite them to a fun and worshipful evening that is focused on the birth of Christ. Regardless of the weather in the rest of the area, we will have snow on front lawn for our children to play in before and after our Christmas Eve Services, and we seek to serve all that gather with the love that Christ has shown us.
