The Mission of Apex Baptist Church is based on the Great Commission:

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." - Matthew 28:18-20

The Pathway

Life is busy enough. Our goal at Apex Baptist is to supply you a map that guides you down your spiritual pathway to maturity in Christ. We believe more and more options may equate to busy, but it doesn’t always equate to healthy. That is why we say “no” to some good things, so we can strive for excellence in what we do. Our Pathway is designed to help you excel in your spiritual journey with Christ, without being overwhelmed with finding your own way through a menu of options. Join us as we WORSHIP, CONNECT, SERVE, and GROW together!

Worship is vital to spiritual health and maturity. It is also more than gathering at a building once a week. Worship is an expression of faith and adoration towards the Lord in our daily attitudes and actions; putting God first through each life experience.

We desire each person to actively worship God in 2 main ways:

1. Corporate Worship - Through our weekly gatherings and special services.

2. Personal Worship - Through each life experience and choice.

(Hebrews 12:28-29, Colossians 3:16-17, Psalm 95:1-7)

Living life and walking your spiritual journey with others is imperative! Life Groups are open groups based on life-stage and generally co-ed, although can be gender-specific. These groups are where people connect and live life together. You can find a Life Group on campus or in a home that works best for you and your family. Through weekly sermon-based lessons, hanging together outside of church for fun, and serving together through mission projects, Life Groups are essential for connecting with others and living life in community. Anyone who desires more info about leading or participating in a Life Group can email or call the church office. You can also find current Life Groups at

We desire each person to connect and actively live life in community through LIFE Groups.

These groups are:

  • Life-Stage Specific
  • Open to All
  • In Primary Language
  • On-Campus (Primarily Sundays)
  • Off-Campus (Throughout the week)
  • Curriculum-Based

God has given each believer unique gifts and abilities to add value to the local body of Christ and to impact their world. We believe spiritual health relies upon individuals using those gifts and abilities, and fulfilling his or her role within the church and beyond.

We desire each person to actively use God-given gifts, abilities, and talents to serve in 2 main ways:

1. Ministry – Various on-campus ministry opportunities available through the church.

2. Missions -  Local, domestic, and foreign mission opportunities available through the church.

(1 Corinthians 12:12-27, Matthew 28:19-20, 1 Peter 4:10)

Jesus said, “Go and make disciples!” That’s why it’s pretty important. Disciple-making groups (D-Groups) meet 60 to 90 minutes on a weekly basis, for 12 to 18 months. These groups intentionally cover 4 main areas; high-level accountability, Bible study, scripture memorization, and prayer. These groups are organic in the way they are formed and in functionality. They also are strategically structured for replicating in to new D-Groups; disciples making disciples. Anyone who desires more info about leading or participating in a D-group can email or call the church office.

We desire each person to actively grow through intentional disciple-making groups (D-Groups).

These groups are:

  • Gender Specific
  • Closed for Participants
  • In Primary Language
  • On-Campus (Primarily Wednesdays)
  • Off-Campus (Throughout the week)
  • Strategically Replicate-able

(Acts 4:42-47, Hebrews 3:12-14, 1 Timothy 4:7-8, 15, 2 Timothy 2:2)
