APEX MISSIONS

TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH

That's right, to the ends of the earth! Jesus calls us to spread the good news far beyond the borders of our city.

In Matthew 28, Jesus urges us to " Go therefore and make disciples of ALL nations", not some but ALL. At Apex Baptist we want to do our best to live every single day on mission and fulfill this great commission. There's an opportunity for everyone to get involved. Whether it's through prayer, giving, or traveling across the globe, you can make a difference.

Clarkston, GA

We will partner with SEND Relief to participate in a variety of compassion opportunities that can include apartment outreach, food pantry ministry, after- school programs, sports ministry, canvassing, prayer walking, homeless ministry, physical labor, serving at-risk families, and university campus ministry. About a third of the trip will also include aspects of training and equipping so that volunteers can learn how to better serve the international and refugee communities in their cities.

Western North Carolina

We will be working with NC Baptist on Mission on home rebuilds following hurricane Helene. The group will mostly be doing drywall, flooring, insulating, electrical, plumbing, cabinets, painting, etc. All work done is similar to the Habitat for Humanity model where trained/experienced leaders provide training and supervision. No skills are required coming into this effort - just a willingness to learn and serve. We ask all volunteers to be flexible and willing to do what work is needed while they serve on site. Needs are changing daily. We ask that volunteers be physically able to assist in these efforts.

Dominican Republic

We will travel to Santo Domingo, DR to partner with local churches, through Empowering Action, and work alongside them as they continue their ministry to the reach the local community. We will engage the locals through establishing relationships and connections, completing projects, and serving the pastors/staff and their families.

South Sudan- College Trip

College students are invited to participate in the Great Commission and experience what God is doing to reach the unreached in Africa. We will meet and encourage African brothers and sisters, do outreach in the community, and see a Flagship church and the Empower One bible school, NEATS.

South Sudan- Adult Trip

Join us as we will travel to Kajo Keji, South Sudan to encourage NEATS faculty and alumni. The team will teach on how the Doctrine of God shapes our missiology. The team will remind the African leaders that the world created by Christ (Col. 1:15-17) is also being redeemed through his Spirit of Christ through the Church.

New York City

Share the love of Jesus by providing warm coats and the gospel to those in need this winter. This December, alongside South Carolina Baptists and the Metropolitan New York Baptist Association, N.C. Baptists are partnering on mission together as the hands and feet of Jesus by collecting coats throughout the year and distributing them to those in need.

HOW IS GOD CALLING YOU TO GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS?

How can I make a difference around the world?

Pray. Pray. And Pray Some More.
It may sound simple but we believe in the power of prayer. It's one of the ways that we stay connected to God, and it is a vital part of our life as believers.

Here's Are A Few Specific Ways You Can Pray
Pray for Open Doors (Colossians 4:2–3a) Open doors can’t be taken for granted. Many missionaries work in countries that are difficult to access or in areas that are resistant to the gospel. But open doors include more than just access to nations and people groups. Individuals’ hearts also need to be open and receptive to God’s truth.

Pray for Boldness (Ephesians 6:19) Missionaries are regular people who fear pain and rejection as much as anyone else. When faced with opposition, they need God’s strength to help them stand firm.

Pray That God's Word Will Spread (2 Thessalonians 3:1) Obstacles must be removed to allow God’s Word to spread rapidly and freely, and missionaries need the strength to continue on in the face of opposition or difficulties.

Pray for protection, effective ministry,  safe travel, time of refreshment, the list goes on. There are so many ways that you can pray and support our missionaries throughout the world.
