Grace Lived Out - 6.30.19
Titus 3:1-8
In this passage, Paul continues to stress to Titus that healthy doctrine leads to devotion to good works. In these verses, Paul sets his appeal in the context of the gospel. He reminds Titus that our lives used to look one way but now through the gospel we have been redeemed to look wholly different both in the Church, and in society. He concludes by appealing to Titus that the Christians in Crete will be healthy and thus constitute a healthy church if they devote time to things that are profitable while avoiding things that are worthless.
