1. God the Father Loves Us (1 John 3:1-3)
2. God the Son Died for Us (1 John 3:4-8)
3. God the Holy Spirit Lives in Us (1 John 3:9-10)

Application

- Do I have a new nature or am I pretending to be a Christian?
- Do I cultivate my new nature by daily Bible reading and prayer?
- Has any unconfessed sin defiled my relationship with God? Am I willing to confess it and forsake it?
- Do I allow my old nature to control me or does God control me?
- When temptation comes, do I flee from it or yield to it?
